Licensed Real Estate Broker (Buyer’s Agent)

Job Type: Full-time

Z Chicago Buyer’s Agents are trustworthy and dependable individuals available around the clock to guide successful home purchases on behalf of clients. Buyer’s Agents are tasked with generating their own leads and autonomously managing each transaction seamlessly.

Buyer’s Agents receive introductory training, ongoing mentoring, access to prime West Loop office space, personal subdomain with MLS integration, listing management tools and more. Candidates seeking a position as a Buyer’s Agent should possess effective communication skills, strong knowledge of Chicago and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing market.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture, own and close new buyer leads
  • Voluntarily take on referral leads passed along by managing broker, team member or industry colleagues
  • Implement and oversee personal lead generation campaign; may include in-person networking, social media marketing, email marketing, advertising and traditional print marketing (flyers, newsletters, handwritten cards, etc.)
  • Stay up-to-date and informed with the current market to advise home buyers accordingly
  • Respond to new leads, showing requests or general outreach in a timely manner
  • Identify homes or condos that best fit prospective buyers’ search criteria and budget
  • Schedule and accompany clients on showings
  • Manage transaction details in a shareable spreadsheet or CRM software
  • Write and submit offers on behalf of clients, negotiate terms and oversee the transaction through closing
  • Maintain positive rapport with regular follow-up
  • Provide superior level of service to prompt repeat and referral business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the real estate industry
  • Active or pending Illinois broker license
  • Currently reside in the downtown Chicago area
  • Ability to think and act quickly; car preferred for last minute client requests
  • Proven success working directly with clients in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to work independently almost daily; support available by request
  • Willingness to become and maintain active REALTOR® status
  • Must abide by the Code of Ethics set forth by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)
  • Robust understanding of Chicago neighborhoods, including community events, new developments, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong negotiating abilities
  • Organization and attention to detail a must

Listing Agents are expected to generate their own seller leads, advertise across platforms and autonomously managing each transaction seamlessly. Our competitive commission splits reflect the diligence, determination and expertise expected of our team members.

The Listing Agent receives introductory training, ongoing mentoring, access to prime West Loop office space, personal subdomain with MLS integration, listing management tools and more. Candidates seeking the position of Listing Agent should possess effective communication skills, strong knowledge of Chicago and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing market.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and secure seller leads throughout the Chicagoland area
  • Meet with home sellers to discuss marketing strategy, including pricing, advertising, staging and more
  • Stay up-to-date and informed with the current market to advise sellers accordingly
  • Respond to showing requests in a timely manner and maintain positive rapport with fellow Realtors ®
  • Conduct open houses to generate buzz or capture new buyer leads
  • Manage transaction details in a shareable spreadsheet or CRM software
  • Represent seller’s wishes and negotiate terms accordingly
  • Oversee the transaction through closing and be available to answer questions both quickly and accurately
  • Maintain positive client rapport with regular follow-up
  • Provide superior level of service to prompt repeat and referral business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the real estate industry

Job Type: Full-time 

The Leasing Agent is an honest, dependable professional with a knack for matching renters with apartments or privately-owned condos throughout the Chicagoland area. Leasing Agents are responsible for their own lead generation and benefit from competitive commission splits. Leasing Agents are also responsible for advertising luxury apartments and privately-owned condo listings in a principled manner that strictly follows our company code of ethics.

All agents receive ongoing mentoring, advertising training, access to prime West Loop office space, personal subdomain, professional luxury apartment photos and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new rental leads independently and/or voluntarily accept broker-generated leads
  • Screen rental leads and locate listings that best match individual needs
  • Schedule and accompany clients on apartment and private condo showings
  • Acquire feedback after tours to better learn client preferences
  • Maintain regular communication with client regarding application status
  • Keep up-to-date logs of signed status in shared spreadsheet
  • Preserve positive rapport with regular follow-up
  • Provide superior level of service to prompt repeat and referral business 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a leasing agent in Chicago
  • Active Illinois Leasing Agent or Broker license
  • Currently reside in the downtown Chicago area
  • Ability to think and act quickly; car preferred for last minute client requests
  • Proven success working directly with clients in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to work independently almost daily
  • Willingness to become and maintain active REALTOR® status

Brokers and Leasing Agents are independent contractor, 1099 (self-employed) commission-based positions. Successful candidates must be self-motivated with the ability to produce and maintain their own schedules. Serious applicants only; this is not a part-time position.
